GNC has a supplement called "Nourishair" that makes the hair grow faster, you can read what's in it by googling it. Be warned these pills are HUGE and you have to take 2 a day.

Also ProCaps labs sells a "hair skin and nails" formula that does the same thing, supports hair growth and health, and is smaller and easier to swallow.

If you take only Biotin alone, make sure you take at least 2.5 milligrams or 2500 micrograms [the same thing] a day because thats' a good amount to take. I use the Nourshair supplement from GNC now and my hair is growing faster than it did, but it took about 6 to 8 weeks of daily use to see results.

I used to think my hair never grew. I have very fine hair, and the ends were always split. It didn't look bad to me, so I never trimmed it that much, after all, I wanted it to grow. Well, I had several inches cut off, and all of a sudden, it seemed like my hair was growing. Alot.

As I was later to learn in Cosmetology School, because my hair had split ends, they were breaking off at more or less the same speed my hair was growing. So it appeared as if it never grew.

You don't mention how long your hair actually is, or the condition. But, this could be your problem.

According to my mom and grandmama...use coconut oil. Massage it to your hair. Owh yes, massaging your head will be good too. If your hair is black, coconut oil can help make it become shiny black. Hope this helps. Sorry if it doesn't work. But it's worth a try i guess.

it's been my experience as a hairdresser that if you are experiencing a slow growth time with your hair, you will probably have a growth spurt really soon...usually with my clients, about the time they noticed it slowed, it started up again...most normal heads of hair go through cycles just like plants! vitamin suppliments are a good idea even if you are not having a problem, but hair growth is more of a hormonal issue. just take good care of yourself and your hair will follow!

straightening ur hair will make it look WAY longer depending on how curly/wavy ur hair is now. also massaging your roots/scalp for 2-5 (or more) minutes a day (before bed should be good...thats when i do it!) will make your hair stronger and healthier and it will stimulate growth! (make it grow more!!!)

also massage your shampoo and conditioner into your scalp for about 2-3 minutes while ur in the shower....this will help really get your hair clean and un tangled and it will help it grow!

another thing to remember is that u shouldnt EVER comb/brush your hair when its wet, it will break the hair cuticles and stop growth!

brush ur hair before u shower for best results!

well its known that hair grows 1cm every month so if u trim it every two months ur hair will grow healthy and thick gradually will end up growing 6cm every year ..may be it will take a little more time than expected but to the better and longer ur hair would improve ..use a leave in conditioner after u wash ur hair , comb it gently to avoid breakage then a pony tail would be awesome ..avoid gel and mouse and that stuff if u want to grow ur hair healthy
