I really like my hair, it's one of my favorite features about me. It's currently about shoulder-length on me, and it's fairly fine, and straight. I'd love to have it longer - halfway down my back or more. Trimming seems counter productive, though I know to keep it healthy enough to grow you have to have it trimmed occasionally - how often is that? Also, are there any shampoos or anything that will help at all, or any other basic hair care tips to keep it long and make it longer? Thank you in advance :)

You could get extensions, but I dont think there is anything to do to help it grow faster, you just have to wait. But of course keeping it healthy will help, like you said with the trimming, and as far as how often to trim it, I usually just trim mine when i notice it stops growing as much, which is like once a year. But that isnt very good, so if i were you i wuld get it trimmed maybe every 7 weeks.
