im 13 and i got waves but i want braids will my hair turn nappy once its grown out

It will depend on many things, your texture being the most important. But I would say not to worry so much about whether your hair will be highly textured (aka nappy) as I would about it's overall health.

BTW, there is no such thing as good and bad hair. There is such a things as healthy and non healthy though.
