well its known that hair grows 1cm every month so if u trim it every two months ur hair will grow healthy and thick gradually will end up growing 6cm every year ..may be it will take a little more time than expected but to the better and longer ur hair would improve ..use a leave in conditioner after u wash ur hair , comb it gently to avoid breakage then a pony tail would be awesome ..avoid gel and mouse and that stuff if u want to grow ur hair healthy

check with your hair-dresser to be sure, but it has been proven to me that if you have your hair cut according to the cycles of the moon, it will grow faster. I'm pretty sure that is at the same point on the moon cycle when it is suggested that plants planted for that season are put in the ground. You can learn this from "The old farmers' Almanac", which is published annually, so you would need to refer to a current one. Most public libraries have them; you may even be able to access the information from them on line. Hope this works!
