I have wavy hair and as it grows it goes on top instead of falling down, what should I do to make it long instead of getting "bigger"?

my hair used to be the same way, if you want it to be straighter and thinner looking, you should straighten it (as strange as that may sound).

after straightening it for a while, itll become straighter naturally, and you wont have to do nearly as much straightening
